He nearly cried out at the impact. The Black Paladin dug his hands into the fabric of his shirt, pushing him harshly against the wall, "Where is Lance?!" Keith snarled. It really was remarkable how his eyes changed to resemble those of pure Galra. It would have scared him if his introduction to the guy hadn't been a gushing retelling of a 'bonding moment' between him and his brother.
Alec merely rolled his eyes. "Haven't you been listening. I. Don't. Know. And to think Lance said you were smart." Keith was pratically growling as he pulled his arms off of his shirt. "I'll say this once. You will either help me find my brother and fix the mess you made or you will let me leave with that ship and stay the fuck away from him."
In which Lance goes off on a solo mission without the others knowing only to be left behind when the team disappears and having to deal with the aftermath.
(They do get reunited. In fact most of the time lance spends a part from them in shown in
Lance's flashbacks leading up to their reuinion.)

"Blaytz, my original paladin." Blue supplied in response to his thoughts shifting to the blue alien. Blaytz and the Altean seemed to be whispering to each other, giggling. It reminded Lance of whenever him and Pidge would gossip at the dinner (although he and Pidge rarely sat next eachother) or even those nerve wracking times when Pidge and Keith decide they want to prank someone. The Altean was average height, for a human at least, and had long blueish white hair gently cascading down his back, tied in a loose ponytail. His face was what startled Lance the most. It was shockingly similar to his own. Smooth tanned skin, he didn't seem to be wearing any make up, unlike Lance who usually wore it to cover his freckles. His eyes seemed to be glowing with excitement in a blue that matched the markings that lay under his eyes. "That is Amira, my second paladin." Lance finds out he's part-Altean along with his feelings for a certain red paladin. Goes through seasons 2-6 and completely redone post season 6. At Dawn - Klance
~WARNING~ Mentions of injuries, violence, and possibly gory details ~ In the midst of battle, Blue ejects Lance as the Lion takes a heavy blow. Lance is stranded on the Earth-like planet since Blue fell into a deep abyss. The paladins realize this is a battle that won't be won and decide to leave. Forgotten
Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. Survival of the Innocent (A Voltron fanfic) (Book 1 of Fates Entwined)
One deca-phoeb, a Galra female by the name of Krolia kept the Galra from finding the Blue Lion. However, her ship received damages and she crashed. A human found her, badly injured, and took care of her. With time, this human gained Krolia's trust and her affection. A baby boy was born to them and they were happy. They though nothing could ruin their happiness; they were wrong. The Galra picked up the signals of the Blue Lion and returned to Earth. She left to protect her family and the Lion but her husband followed her. He helped, but died. The Lion was safe but Krolia had lost her lover and her little child had lost a father. She took him with her, in the hope of keeping him safe and protect the Lion, but they were captured by the Galra. Krolia was forced to fight for their lives in the arena, but lost her own eventually. Her child grew up, learning the Galra customs and fighting styles, fighting - no, surviving - in the arena. He had privileges, allowing him to wander the ship they were all held on. He befriended the other gladiators and taught them how to survive, even the Champion. Together, the Champion and the child escaped, headed to Earth, in hopes to protect what had cost the child so much and could change the fate of the entire Universe. Galran Paladin
The team captures a Galran who seems to be linked to Zarkon's high command, they intend to get information from him on the Galra plans. Lance, of course, is the first to talk to the emo Galran, and though he manages to get the info he needs, he tricks the Galran, Keith, which leads to a very rocky start. As the team discovers more about the Red Lion and it's Paladin, they learn that Keith may be of more use to them than just a prisoner. Damaged Beyond Repair
Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. Keith, Hunk, Pidge, Shiro, Coran, and Allura are worried. With Keith stressing himself out over the wellbeing of his kidnapped friend, and Pidge looking all over for said friend, the paladins of Voltron are not on their best.
