The Sentinel Season is here, and the nation of Aemyear has been set ablaze.
Noble born ladies older than fifteen are eligible for a place in the year-long festivities happening in Palace of Sapphires-and all the opportunities for social advancement the Sentinel brings in its wake.

Within Vheran Manor, everything is flipped on its head.
Yamina and Esen are packing all their things with hopes for future greatness and crowns and the pageantry of the Royal courts, Lady Vheran is scheeming for her daughters destinies, playing them like puppets on a string... and Ella is slick and sly in the shadows, plotting her vengeance on all the people that she believes had a hand in the untimely death of her poor parents.

Little does she know how far her desire for blood will take her. To a Palace the colour of Sapphires and a young man with eyes to match. To a crown, to murder... to a future she could never have envisioned if given the chance.

There is a competition for the Prince's hand, and all three females of House Vheran are in it to win it, and all for different reasons.
