In the world of Tanlautia, there was once a boy. He lived in a small but prosperous town that mined Copper, during an era of peaceful living after many wars. That boy is dead. And his father, his mother, the whole town is stricken with unbearable grief, tearing apart anything, even each other, to discover what happened.
Join me for what I hope is the first story in a series of stories in the world of Tanlautia, a world of magic, of treachery, of great heroes and vile villains, and all the people caught in the grey flames of good and evil's warring. Welcome to the Tales of Tanlautia.

"You don't deserve this", he breathed. His hand glided against my cheek as I slowly lean into it. "What do you mean?" "Nothing. Never mind", he brushes it away. I don't think too much of it, so instead I mumble against his hand. But what I didn't know is what he said was true. I didn't know that I really never deserved any of this.
