The Survivors Of Hell

Now... this book will be a sci-fi, where a meteorite made out of a diamond that releases radiation when hitting the Earth (Landing site is Mt Fuji, so Mt Fuji is now a crater, in case anybody was wondering). Anyways, the radiation biologically changes everybody in the Earth and gives them the ability to use mana. Man is the radiation that was released from the meteorite, meaning that people now have mana in their body and can use it as a sort of mana gauge. Don't bother asking the details as to why or how they changed because the energy readings from the meteorite declare that it's from another galaxy. Anyways, hidden inside the meteorite are 2 monster eggs, and when they hatch they kill everyone around the area, feed and then mate. Their reproduction time is ludicrously low and matched the Earth's human population in just a few decades. They begin overtaking Earth's population and attack. But, thankfully, there are some areas that have ridiculously high defence systems, as if some sci-fi nerd built them thinking this was gonna happen. These were built all over the world, with the larger countries having a larger area of it in tight lockdown. Combat schools were made in these areas so young people who wish to protect everyone can train and become superpowered soldiers to fight the monsters. The biggest threat humanity has to face at the current moment are the 2 original monsters, who have grown the size of mountains and currently reside in Australia, a country that is now a wasteland. It has been several decades since then, and their numbers are still growing. Humanity has made many advancements, territory wise and technology-wise. Criminal gangs still run wild in the area, fulfilling their sadistic endeavours by tossing people outside the safe zone and watching them get eaten. And this is where the story begins.
