Juliet Alastair's goal for the summer was to work at her favorite place; the library. All she wanted to do was to take care of the books and recommend them. A few Crunchyroll episodes never hurt since no one really bothers to go to the library during the summer, until Ace Knight visits the library to do the one thing his brother asks him to do. Though, a new-found face with a troubled past has made his way into your life, and your friend group, and the constant weight of heavy baggage on his shoulders makes him hard to get to-- all he has to do is warm up to the idea of being loved. revised/continuing through 2026. 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 modern college au set at a real school, drinking and use of drugs/drug abuse, explicit depictions of addiction, explicit sexual content including a theme of sexual ABUSE, themes and references to self-harm, death, suicide, allusions to hallucinations and schizophrenia canon/non-canon characterization. while in no way am I trying to glorify these things, a lot of the experiences that I have put into this book I have experienced myself-- and want to bring them to light. when i put warnings, please, for the love of god, take them seriously. proceed with caution as you read, because this story is not for the faint of heart.
