43 parts Complete Jasper Piers is the picture of a young, prodigal artist: strange and somewhat unassuming, obsessed with the talent of his competition- which only grow younger and younger. It's enough to drive him mad- and it does.
For fear of his crumbling mental state, Jasper's life is forcefully put on hold, and he is sent to a quiet place to steady himself. Alone, and in the perfect place to truly go mad, he finds himself at La Magdalena, the local eclectic institution and jewel, for the chance to experience life like everyone else his age. What he gets instead is horror intertwining with a group of adolescents: Quentin, Lionel, and twins, Monty and Medea- who both share his face- the same face of Magdalena herself.
Trapped in a place hostile to him, Jasper blindly follows Medea's plan to kill her parents and free she and her brother from the generations-long vicious cycle of bitter resentment that has driven the Albrecht family to cannibalism.
