Once upon a time, about eleven years ago, Rachel and Ryan's parents left home. Ryan goes after them, leaving his sister alone where she's safe. 
Then she meets Aqua, who decides to help find her brother. 
She soon learns of the other worlds, and of how strange, incredible, and cruel destiny can be at times. 
But, despite all this, she'll stay stronger, and try to protect the things that matter.
(also i didn't make the art on the cover or most of the characters. They're from Kingdom Hearts. This is the Kingdom Hearts series with my Oc's inserted)

And now the girl named Jessica btw could now talk and understand her heartless brethren (Because she was like half human half heartless) and she even had her own guardsmen. she was going to have one heck of a time in this world. I don't own kingdom hearts and I also and only know the 3ed game so if I miss any lore bits i apologies for that but anyway lets start this book up

The events of the Kingdom Hearts Saga if Sora and Kairi had been born the opposite gender. Soraya is an average tomboyish girl living on the Destiny Islands with her two best friends. Riku, who had been her closest friend her whole life (so close that they were practically siblings), and Kai, a sweet and creative boy who she had a slight crush on. One day, when Soraya was fourteen, her life changed forever when darkness invaded her home, and only she had the power to combat it. Little did she know that she was the prophesied Child of Destiny. ***I've loved Kingdom Hearts for years. I have all three main games. I've seen a couple genderbend fanfictions about it before, which were really good, but I thought I could elaborate more. Only Sora and Kairi are genderbent in this fanfiction. I do realize that Sora is a Japanese unisex name, but I associate it too much with a boy character to use it. Soraya is a Persian name that means "star cluster," which I feel fits perfectly, and Kai is a unisex name that means "sea" in Hawaiian, which also works well. There will be no POVs in this fanfiction. Kingdom Hearts is the property of Square Enix and Disney. Found inspiration for Kai's design on Google Images. (Copywrite is the last thing I want). I only own the genderbent versions of Sora and Kairi. So please enjoy my first entry in my genderbent Kingdom Hearts Saga. Also, I may include some more detailed information about some characters. Riku nodded and looked at the stars again. *This is the second book and since the first book has been through all of the Kingdom Hearts games so far. This follows Emma and the others journey to find Sora...but will they find something else out also.
