The ground shook. Ren shot his arms out to maintain his balance.
Crimson dust started gently falling from the ceiling. The cages above him groaned, a metallic screeching cutting through the silence. He could smell rust, so thick on the air, he could taste it.
A blinding light exploded outwards. swallowing up the room, and time itself. Ren could faintly hear his pulse in his ears, as his being was enveloped in cold light.
When it dissipated, he opened his eyes to find himself in Shibuya Crossing, facing the large billboard in the centre. Around him, his friends stood, all in a similar state of confusion. Static crackled loudly, and Ren felt the sound press in on all sides.
Overhead, the skies cried blood.

Persona 5: The Phantom Knight
Nolan Woods is an Australian transfer student to Shujin Academy, his parents ended up passing away due to the mental shutdown incidents, causing him to live with Tae Takemi above the clinic in a similar situation to Ren Amamiya, the only difference is that Nolan doesn't have an assault charge. Filled with determination to find out about the mental shutdown incidents, Nolan Works with the Phantom Thieves to uncover the mystery behind the mental shutdowns and the evil that's causing it. Disclaimer: I don't claim ownership for Persona 5, Nolan Woods is my own character. However, I will add specific enemies for Nolan to fight against throughout the story to make things interesting. My Key Item (Joker X Futaba) Persona 5 Royal
After months of getting to know and love Futaba Sakura, knowing that she is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, it's all ripped away by one man. Takuto Maruki has decided that people cannot be allowed to think for themselves, and that they should never have to feel pain, well, unless you interfere with his plan. After being thoroughly trounced by the Phantom Thieves, Maruki makes one last ditch attempt to break the theives, and kills Futaba. In his blind rage, Akira Kurusu, otherwise known as Joker takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. This is a passion project that sprung to mind while driving, and now I'm hyperfixated... Welp, time to churn out a book. ENJOY READING IT!! The lights flickered off, shocking Benjiro. It became dead silent. Benjiro could've sworn he felt the room grow hotter. He rolled his sleeves up, just looking around the room and at his friends. They'd all grown quiet. No one spoke. No one moved. No one did anything. They all stood there, pondering what happened to the power and why there were fireworks mere seconds ago. Kenji threw a curtain open, looking out the window. Within seconds, he slid the window open, peering out the window and looking around. He stood on his tiptoes a bit, but it was only enough to get a good look. He stood back on his heels, eyes scanning the other three. "No one's outside." Kenji said, his tone as shocked as it should be in a situation like this. Shibuya was a /busy/ city. Everyone wouldn't just disappear out of the blue. "Are you fucking with us?" Arati asked, rapidly making his way to Kenji. He lightly pushed him out of the way, Kenji's back hitting the wall when he was pushed.
