"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." - Pablo Picasso

Sometimes, eleven-year-old Dina Blum feels invisible. Her mother is obsessed with winning the favor of Mrs. Nava Schloss, the most fashionable lady in town. No one in class notices her, except the bully who won't leave her alone. When her younger brother's English tutor, Elisheva, introduces to her the world of art, Dina becomes determined to win her Jewish community's art competition - whether or not she has the talent. With the help of the Kongdim (a legendary secret club ruled by a band of misfits), a Southern Rabbi (whose strange stories give her a lot to think about), and whole lot of gumption, Dina will find that there is a lot more to art - and to herself - than she thought.

Everyone thinks he should have recovered after that much time, but Allan still haunts Elliot every night. He struggles to maintain relationships with his family, and despite a coworkers interest he can't summon up the courage to date. Elliot is living for the past, because to live for the present means he'll have to live with a hole in his heart.
