Happening right after the events of Legacy, this story is told from Biana's POV. *SPOILER ALERT* Keefe is in the Hospital Wing after the events of Legacy, but he's not waking up. The main characters are trying to find a way to wake him up, but also to quiet the unrest in the Lost Cities after King Enki's betrayal. But Biana sees this as a way to work out her feelings. She's long had a crush on Keefe, but he only has eyes for Sophie. So it's up to Biana to decide, does she keep fighting this impossible battle? Or does she find somebody else to love?

It was hard to remember that victory was on their side when she had to witness the damage the Neverseen has caused. She was in desperate need of finding out how to let go of who she was before, and start to be who she wants to be. Keefe Sencen was struggling. He wasn't sure of what to make of his thoughts, and was scared of their implications. He kept wishing for a way to turn back time; to see if he could've done things a different way. Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter.
