Life was never fair for Aurora. It was like the world was against her from the moment she
could remember. She didn't know what love was. She wanted the love of a parent, a sibling, or a
friend, but she never got it. She never had anyone that stayed. The pain that she felt from being
alone was far worse than the mental and physical abuse she received from her mother and her
father. She never understood what happened. What did she do to deserve a life filled with
nothing but pain? She followed the rules the best she could but it was never enough. Never.
She hated the cycle that she was left in. She hated the pain, she hated that she didn't know how
to fix it. She hated everything. She wanted and needed change, but would she be ready for it?
Would her heart be open to love or closed off, unable to take any more suffering by the ones
who should protect her? What would she do if she got the chance at a loving family?
