The Guardians were always there to protect the children after the Dark Ages. They made sure that the children still believed, still felt wonder, hope and dreams in their hearts. For what would happen if every child had nothing but fear? As everyone knows, the Guardians were created to defeat fear. Man in Moon gave the children Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Sandman and the Tooth Fairy, but... he never gave them Halloween. True, Halloween was... a difficult spirit. She may seem innocent at first but you soon find out how many secrets she possesses. Halloween, although insignificant in most people's beliefs, is the most important spirit that could exist. And when that spirit gets taken away, not seen for a decade, people tend to notice the drastic change in their daily lives, especially someone we all know. . . . I love Rise of the Guardians. So. Much. You have no idea. I just hope that other people, equally, love this movie. I'm sure fanfictions like this have definitely been written before, but I want one. An original Vanessa thoughts. - Think of all those puddles you splash in, all the laughter that bubbles up from dancing in the rain. Those storms don't just appear out of nowhere - they come from somewhere. (Y/n) Rain doesn't know how she ended up here or why she was chosen to be part of something much bigger than herself. Unlike Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, she's not famous. In fact, no one even knows she exists. And honestly? She stopped caring about that a long time ago. *HIGHEST RANKING: #1 in Jack Frost and #3 in snowflakes** "Who are you, and why the heck are you in my house?!" You ask the boy, pointing your hairbrush at him. Like a hairbrush will do anything, right? The boy didn't seem to be armed with any weapons, but he did carry a wooden staff that hooked at the end. You eyed him carefully. But the boy was taken aback. "You can see me?!" He asked, almost in disbelief. You raised an eyebrow, "..Yes?.. You're not exactly hiding very well if this is hide n' seek," you stated back at him. "She can see me.." he said to himself, almost in shock, and then his face broke into an endless smile, "She can see me!" The boy did a backflip, which you admitted was impressive because you can't even do a cartwheel, and he landed back on his bare feet. "Sorry to interrupt this.. reunion you're having with yourself but, am I not supposed to see you, or?..." You trail off, but he understood you perfectly, almost as if he's gotten this question before before. You still had your guard up. "Okay, so I'm not exactly.. Human.. or alive.. Well I'm here but I'm not alive because I'm a Winter spirit. I make winter!" He stated. You both stared at each other for a minute or two in complete silence. Then you blinked. Twice even. "Uh.. What? A winter spirit?" He nodded, "Oh, like Jack Frost?" He smirked, and almost started laughing as he crossed his arms, "Snowflake, I am Jack Frost," ~*~ Y/n has had a troubled past, starting with her family passing away and having no friends, she lives alone in her house as a 16 year old girl. But when Pitch Black is back, she and the Guardians have to find a way to defeat him (again). However, when she bonds with a certain winter spirit, things can take a turn to impacting both her life and her heart.
