Liwanu is a skin-changer. With the majority of her people dead and little to no knowledge of any other survivors, she takes great care to avoid any unnecessary danger. She doesn't leave the Vales of Anduin, doesn't help strangers, and certainly doesn't make friends. Her life is one great pattern of forced safety - until one day she ventures too far from home for a special celebration, deep into the heart of Mirkwood. When she comes face to face with an angry king and a disillusioned people, will she turn her back and let them brand her a criminal?
