This first-person narrative story is based from the Filipino story/epic Ibong Adarna, albeit I admit that the two Adarnas have no relation with each other and both stories are completely different. You can say this is the Regiversian version of the Ibong Adarna. The plot is very much modified from the original, taking place in my universe instead of the original setting, and this features more action, though I am not saying this is better.

The king of the Midnight Empire has been suddenly struck with a horrible malady, of whom its limitations and nature remain unknown.
