Storm Clouds

Caiden was a survivor. She had survived fifteen years in a tiny cell with 29 other kids, all struggling to stay alive. Little does she know that there's a virus ravaging the outside world. It kills people in weeks, and there is no known cure. When she's exposed to the virus, instead of being infected, she gains superpowers and she and her best friend Fox escape the tiny cell and flee to a small camp of rebels who are fighting against the government, the same people who took all of the kids to begin with.

Meanwhile, the woman in charge of the operation that is taking the children away from their families takes notice of Caiden's specific power, and thinks she might finally have a way of curing this virus for good.
