Many types of Undine exist in the continental kingdom of Cetacea. Sirens prey on sailors with alluring illusions. Mermaids can sing storms into being. Selkies amaze with their incredible strength. Naiads heal using their soothing melodies.
True Undines, or Nereids, are much more powerful. Their thoughts and emotions can change currents and summon waves. They are feared and oppressed because of their immense power, yet not all of them use their abilities with malice.
Cari is a Nereid, and she wants to end the oppression her people experience. Her mission is thwarted, however, when her mother sends her upon a quest to reclaim the weapon of a distant ancestor.
Cari is not one to give up on her dreams. But her quest will further strain the Nereids' relationship with the other Undine races. With that, and more, can she change a kingdom founded on an ancient decree aimed against her people?

The ocean was the source of the magic that beings such as sirens and merfolk possessed, and the moon fueled the bottomless magic for the ocean to distribute, so it only made sense that the ocean's creations would be their most powerful and wild on a full moon, when the night was brimming with magic. The moon at its fullest, the ocean stirring with power, and the creatures in it grew restless, for they all felt the shift in the balance of primal magic that particular night. The Siren's Call
➖After her mother's death, seventeen year old Karis tries to drown herself and is mysteriously saved by a boy who assumed she was unconscious. But some things he says don't add up, and he realizes the consequences of his actions, since saving drowning humans is against the law. So he gives her two choices: Never speak a word of what happened and go back to whatever life she despised so much, Or Come with him to an underwater city she never thought existed. After choosing the latter in a risky gamble, both her and the boy might be in for more than they bargained for when they discover the city is under attack. Will they be able to save it and the people in it in time, or will following the boy be a big mistake?
