After the Harran Virus tore through the city, killing everything and spreading the infections faster than anyone could have imagined, Y/n L/n watched as a horde of the shambling undead broke down his house's door and attacked his parents, tearing through them like a knife through hot butter. The scent of death and decay was weighing down on Y/n like a brick wall had fallen on him. He listened in horror as his parents' screams died down, replaced by the gut-wrenching, stomach-churning sound of the zombies ripping the flesh from their bodies and devouring them.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, Y/N?! RUN! FIND YOUR SISTER AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!" His father gurgles out a final time before a zombie rips his throat out.
Y/n's head whips to the stairs and his body immediately moves into action. He sprinted up the steps, threw open his sister's door, and shouted.
"S/n! Where are you?!"
To his horror, the room was empty.
"Oh, god."
He walked over to the window, staring out at the desolate city before his eyes. Black plumes of smoke rose from the buildings, the screams of agony and fear echoed throughout the city. As the groaning of the undead began to grow louder, your panic grows. Quickly moving, y/n slides open the window to his sister's room and clambers out into the dangerous, undead world.

REVISED EDITION COMING OUT MONTHLY/COMPLETED In a world overrun by zombies, A single bite heralds doom - except for Kaindra, who defies death itself, being undead already. ******** As humanity struggles to adapt to the new reality of zombies-infested streets and lurking supernatural creatures from ancient myths and legends, survival becomes an ever-evolving challenge. Survival is a constant battle not only against the undead but also against supernatural creatures and their zealous followers. The relentless onslaught of zombies and the mysterious reemergence of mythical beings push society to its limits. Civilization's last bastions fall one by one, teetering on the brink of collapse. As these ancient myths awaken, they reveal intentions that are far from clear- some may hold the key to salvation, while others could herald further doom. The question remains: Can humanity unravel the mysteries of these legendary beings in time to save themselves, or will they fall prey to the very legends they once dismissed? ___ Excerpt: Taking a deep breath, I lean closer to the mirror, my skin prickling. I thought it was a trick of the light, but as I stare at my reflection, my fragile lies crumble away. The reflection staring back at me feels unrecognizable. My once deep, dark brown eyes now glimmer with an otherworldly light, like twin moons suspended in a sea of silver. The faint glow within them swirls softly, catching the dim flicker of flame I summoned, like ripples across a moonlit lake. Their alien intensity sends a chill down my spine. The orbs seemed to hold a universe within, depths of endless mysteries and ancient wisdom beyond my grasp. ___ Warning: Mentions of suicide and self-harm Beautiful cover made by @scmimi. Ezera spotted movement out of the corner of his eye, squinted as he approached one of the taller apartment complexes 'is that...' coming to a halt near the front of the building he quickly rolls down his window "ASHER?" Asher fumbles his grip in surprise and slips, falling a couple feet down onto the harsh pavement. "Asher what the hell are you doing hanging from a window?" he said as he slammed on the brakes and stuck his head further out the window to confirm it was in fact Asher. All of this commotion was starting to attract a small crowd and a few of 'them' started to lumber in the direction of the car. "Get in the fucking car dumbass". Without a second thought Asher grabbed his stuff and sprinted towards the car. Once he had dove in through the lowered back window the car took off again. "Only if you would have ran that fast at the tournament" he said to lighten the very serious mood. "If" Asher replies. ---- Once fierce rivals, Asher and Ezera now face a world turned upside down. A world where the dead walk and the living are no longer who they used to be. Together with Ezeras younger sister, they must navigate a nightmarish landscape where former friends and family have become relentless killers. As they battle both the undead and their own fears, the trio must uncover the dark secret behind the apocalypse or perish trying. I stood there leaning against the door for a second. Then screams reached my ear. I looked to where it came from and saw a girl at the other end of the hall laying on the ground with a gaping hole in her stomach. Three other students had ripped away at the girl's insides and were chewing it up. One paused for a second and looked up at me. He stood up and I panicked. I knew him. He was in my chorus class. August was his name. He had blond, curly hair, blue eyes, and was probably the tallest person in the entire school. August opened his now bloody mouth and let out a screech that sent chills down my spine. He leaped over the other two cannibals and the now dead girl and broke into a sprint. As soon as he leaped I had also started running. I made it out of the 300 hall and hid behind the vending machine that stood at the entrance of the hall. Seconds later, August was standing just inches from me. He looked around and I stayed as quiet and still as I possibly could. I didn't even breathe. After what seemed like years of waiting, August turned back toward the dead girl and walked out if sight. I stayed where I was for a little bit longer until my lungs demanded I start breathing again. Directly in front of me was the library and cafeteria. To the right of the cafeteria was the auditorium and the music hall. "If I could just make it to the chorus room maybe I'll find some of my friends," I thought to myself. I was about to take my first step when I looked down at my shoes. They were brand new and when I walked, they squeaked. I took my shoes off as quietly as I could. I had my Captain America socks on and I knew I'd have to take those off as well. I just couldn't risk slipping. Once my feet were bare I took off in a quiet sprint towards the music hall. How awesome is that cover though!? Lol my dad made it.
Still Reminiscent (A Pre-Apocalyptic Survival Story) [Discontinued] by skyfleet12z
38 parts Complete Mature
In the year 2022 a mysterious virus erupts in the city of New Yoke Town. What begins as an isolated outbreak rapidly spirals into a full-blown pre-apocalypse - buildings burn, panic spreads, and humanity is forced to reckon with a world where the living and the dead blur. The story follows multiple survivors - ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances, each trying to stay alive in a world going to hell. We meet a hardened "shotgun fellow" whose past haunts him, a crewman uneasy in this new reality, and numerous others trying to adapt to chaos. As society crumbles, the infected - referred to as "turned" - become relentless predators, and survival becomes a matter of constant flight, distrust, and brutal choices. The narrative explores not just the threat of the virus, but the human cost: betrayal, the breakdown of community, and how people react when the rules no longer apply. Eventually, a powerful corporation called the Revert Corporation takes the blame for the outbreak. A "cure" emerges, but only after waves of death and suffering. Some survivors who receive the cure undergo a strange transformation - gaining new powers, or becoming something beyond mere human. The tone is dark, raw and urgent. There's no fantasy system, no supernatural magic setup - just the nightmare of infection, collapse, and the fight to keep one's humanity. The author notes upfront: graphic violence, profanity, sad endings, survival horror. ------------------ORIGINAL STORY-------------------- All Rights Reserved.
