The Boy Next Door

Brenna Jones is not the typical small town girl. She is mostly closed off and only has a couple friends. Oh but did I mention she was rich? Her mom owns her own law firm, Jones and Jacobs Law Practices, and her dad is a famous author, neither are home often though. Jamie and Rayleigh are the few people who have stuck by her since she fell off the social wagon freshman year. Well then again she didnt actually fall off, she was shoved, by her ex-bestfriend Taylor Grahams. Taylor was the girl Brenna talked to about everything until they hit high school and Taylor wanted to be the top of the food chain. She didn't hesitate to ditch Brenna the second she saw an opening. Now Brenna, Jamie, and Rayleigh are left at the bottom, but not for long.

Junior year Brenna is ready to just stay in the shadows and away from Taylor's hate. Then she sees the moving trucks outside. She is getting a new neighbor right next door. Maybe they'll have a teenager around my age, she thinks. And the next thing she sees is a boy, and not the typical boy you see in a small town. He steps out from around the moving truck and rolls his shoulders before turning around and catching Brenna's eyes. Brenna quickly ducks behind the curtain of her bedroom window. This will not be good, she thinks to herself.
