The world you lived in was one of great danger, horror and death. Pain lurked around every corner, waiting to split you open - no place was safe; the echoing screams of the dying scouts was a solid reminder of that fact.

Yet you remained satirical and skeptical, with an open mind that constantly baffled those around you.

You didn't know why. All you wanted to do was learn to fly.

After your family is killed in Shiganshina, you end up becoming a scout, so that perhaps you can make the most of what is left of your life by doing some good. Accompanied by your older sister, who has some rather bad trauma, you enlist in the army, and are sent to the 104th Regiment. There, you come across a character who sticks out to you for the oddest of reasons; the suicidal bastard, Eren Jaeger.
