Dreams are only dreams mother said.

Legends are only legends mother said.

Myths are only Myths' mother said.

Close your eyes and say with confidence "I'm not afraid" mother said.

But mother didn't tell me that would drag me into war with my inner demons.

Mothers are supposed to tell their children demons aren't real.

But My mother didn't. instead, she was training me all my life how to slay my demons.
