Eight trained astronauts step foot on the floor of a ship, ready to take flight. Three locations, given by HQ. They're all prepared for a normal mission; fix the ship, complete their tasks, report their findings back, and get home.
But the mission is not as sheltered as it first appears.
For years, rumors have spread of monsters that invade the ship. There are murders, all of which come from an alien species inhabiting the planet. Their mission? Sow uncertainty and doubt. Sabotage and kill everyone. Leave no man alive.
The astronauts on the ship have not been told most of them will not return. Rat and her crew board the ship unprepared for what they will face. When they find the first of many dead, it is decided: there is an Impostor hiding in their midst. Who they are is yet to be known.
With time, they reveal themselves. They prove to be heartless, brutal beasts, mimicking the astronauts they have replaced and killing them off one by one. Allegiances are questioned; rules are bent; war between Crewmates breaks out. The crew is in a race with death, wondering if they'll make it out alive. The question is, can they find the Impostor before it's too late?

An Imposter Among Us
"Congratulations, Miss Duri. You're leading the fifty-fifth voyage to Polus." My initial giddiness wore away under a new and frankly uninvited sense of suspicion. Only an hour ago they were set on selecting anyone but me. What made them change their mind so quickly? "We were wrong about you, Genesis," the woman said. "We now believe you have the potential to do what your unlucky peers could not. However, you should know that there is no room for mistakes." Nareem leaned forward and picked up his chin. On a normal basis, he was about as intimidating as a rabbit. Now, though, he was pretty close to the office cat's level. "Don't mess this up for us, Miss Duri. Otherwise the consequences will be a lot worse than death." --- Genesis has always wanted to lead a mission to the Polus Space Station, orbiting a Jupiter moon millions of miles away. While each attempt to get there has been compromised by the scheming, violent Conclave, Genesis's hopes to become the next captain of the Skeld have not once faltered. When she finally gets the opportunity of a lifetime, Genesis quickly discovers that, despite her caution, all is not what it seems. Her superiors have maintained minimal contact, and she has reason to believe any one of her crewmates could be an imposter. Once the killings begin, she must act quickly to outwit the Conclave before she and all her crewmates are murdered in cold blood. --- **The characters are original, but this story is based off a game called Among Us. The concept of spaceship crewmates being killed by an imposter does not belong to me, but to the game developers (Innersloth). The Among Us Series is heavily inspired by the popular and well-known game of Among Us made by Innersloth. The story revolves around certain teams in MIRA who tries to discover the mastermind behind this enigmatic chaos, to seek the hypocritical truth is the very goal for each and every one in the crew. Will they find out the biggest lie? Or maybe get killed from it? The answer lies on the journey of the crewmates.

The door slid open without a sound and I found myself punched in the gut. All along the walls were pictures of friends and family. How could I take this away from someone? All of this opportunity and hope? Who was I to decide that he should die? I saw fearful grey eyes staring up at me. "I'm sorry about this. It'll be over soon." Looking away, I slit his throat. His body fell to the ground with a thud and I took a step back. I had just killed someone whose name I didn't even know... K'dela has always been trained to always follow orders. An Among Us Fic with a bit of mystery, thrill, sci-fi and a little bit of love. 2 years ago, the space union issued a worldwide search for people who are willing to undergo training and set off in space as crewmates who would help in managing the three major spaceships that the space union proudly created. These three ships are mainly the Polus, MiraHQ, and lastly the Skeld. The main character we have right now is Red. Last 2 years ago, he showed outstanding remarks and managed to gain as the leader of Skeld Spacecraft 01. With him are 9 individuals whom he could say are very good and trustworthy. ................ When Red boarded the magnificent Skeld with eleven other crewmates, she was never expecting to get caught up in an outright murder mystery. Isolated in the far reaches of space with nobody but her crew, she must help her team figure out the identity of the impostor who was sent to slaughter everybody. And it could be anybody among them. However, Red realizes that there's more to this slaughter. Throughout a tense and terrifying series of events across starships, planets, and space stations, she must learn sacrifice.
