Fourth Encounter

They've been friends for quite some time. After a bad row and a couple of ex-girlfriends that tried very hard to destroy him one way or another, Avi took a vow of celibacy. At first, he wasn't sure he could pull it off. He thought he liked sex just a little too much for that. He really didn't think he could do it. But he had to try. He did it for three months. He found the clarity envigorating and decided that he should do it for a year. Then his stupid heart fell for her and his body wanted to follow that lead. How was he ever going to survive? Their attraction grew as their friendship developed.
Time was moving forward, but it wasn't moving fast enough. All he wants is all of her. But he made a promise to himself and now knows she made the same to him. How on Earth is he going to keep his body out of hers long enough to complete the full year of celibacy he had planned on. If he failed could he handle the disappointment, would they survive? Likely not. Were they even a they? A series of encounters from his point of view tells the tale.
Their fourth encounter happens after another week or so apart. Avi returns to find himself more loved than he could have imagined and that much closer to their goal.
