After being pushed into a cave, Derrick wakes up to find that the opening has mysteriously vanished, leaving him in nothing but blankness. He soon finds Anne, a girl who can't remember who she was before the cave. In the darkness she becomes his light And together they try to escape the blackness as well as the equally as dark past. But the deeper they go the more Derrick realises that something can be trusted in the dark. Not even the light... There's only one thing that Derrick knows for sure is true: Nothing good can come from the dark An extract: As they walked the relief and prospect of safety grew less and less. Derrick was starting to grow nervous and a chilling feeling of danger cooled his blood and created a hard-to-swallow lump in his throat. He started looking around frantically with his every step. Nothing good can come from the dark. And as if the darkness read his thoughts, their surroundings began to change.

He sees her at the coffee shop every morning before work and one time buys her coffee. Until one day something tragic happens and she ends up in his hospital.

It all started with a note. If I had known that everything was about to change after reading that note, I would have left it where I found it. There's no logical explanation for what happened. Isabelle gets ready for another normal day at her school. However, she doesn't know that things are about to change forever. She's now forced to survive in this familiar place with all her classmates until they find a way out. Friendship, love, trust. Everything's about to change for Isabelle since the moment a stranger using a paper bag as a mask appears and threatens against the group's sanity. What will happen to Isabelle? Who'll they find a way out? Figure it out in: The Note.

As Pete plans his escape from jail, the idea that any external force can help him is the furthest thing from his mind. Later, as he begins to pull off his plan and fate starts working in his favor, Pete becomes curious whether he might be on a lucky streak; or just about to end up right back where he started from. A paranormal event bewilders him even more. He pushes on and wonders what the hell is happening!

Edited version of the original "Saved" but still a rough draft the only chapters I'm keeping at this point are 22-27 (Replacer cover though =_=)
