However she can't solve the case without Ross Alvarez, her once childhood best friend now a criminal .
Together, Nina and Ross must work together despite their social standings to find the Axeman of New Orleans. But doing so, Nina and Ross finds themselves on a path of danger, crime, vengeance, and love.
With new revelations about the Axeman of New Orleans, Nina must decide how she must solve the case and whether this is a path truly right for her. The path of law and order or the path of crime and danger?
