Emily Coral had a normal life, right until her best friend, Natalie, disappeared. She follows a mysterious person, Marcus Hunt, who claims to know where Natalie is.

Callum Silverius, Prince of Shadowland, is tasked to bring Emily Coral, the Hope, to his mother, Morgana Nighrscythe, in order to ensure that Shadowland does not crumble away.
