After winning the Holy Road, Tenma's parents got in contact with Aki, insisting for their child to come back to Okinawa. Aki didn't stand a chance against Tenma's parents, so she had to agree, despite the brunet's disagreement.
The brunet had to say goodbye to his teammates and friends, even though none of them wanted him to go.
3 days after Tenma went away, Aki got another phone call from Tenma's parents, claiming that he still hasn't come back. A search party was immediately sent out to find the boy, but they didn't even find a trace of him. The case was officially closed with no real conclusion after 6 months.
