They are instant friends and they are constantly forced through an underdog story even though they want no part of it. Michael has a secret even he doesn't know. The principal is a kind soul, but something is very off in their first year at New Yorktown Middle School or N.Y.T.M.S. as the students seem to change between houses after the head of house security gets fired for negligence.
