"Hey, Auden." Auden turned, startled. "Oh. Hey." "Do you, um, want to walk with me?" I asked. He hesitated. "It's just around campus a few times, not all of Edmonton. And I promise I won't make you dance to the song I'm listening to." I flashed him a small smile, which he returned. "Okay," he said, and fell into step beside me. With nothing but the moon guiding us, Auden and I started a ritual that took place every night, revealing things about ourselves that we found we couldn't reveal to our closest friends or family. The story of a girl who's never been able to fit in, a shy boy with problems no one seems to be able to solve, and how, by having walks in the moonlight, they form a bond stronger than what either of them could have ever imagined.

Hey...I'm Faith Taylor. I was just entering my freshman year of high school. Whilst doing so, I was starting new activities outside of school, which means new cute boys, right? I often find myself falling into spirals of drama and love, so it's no surprise when I fell into another deck of it. Surprisingly, the thing that changed my world this year were many simple--eh not really--promises. Will I ever find my way to a normal high school life? β€’β€’β€’ "Hey," he smiled. "It's cool seeing you somewhere other than tennis for once." "Yeah, you too," I smiled back at Dylan. "By the way...I never properly thanked you for helping Matt back there, so...thanks." "Nothing less for the besties!" I laughed, yet he had a split second of disappointment on his face. Speaking of Matt, things were still kind of iffy from the football game, but as I looked over at Dylan's table, an idea popped into my head. "Hey, do you think my friend and I could sit by you guys?"
