Once upon a time...(Yes I'm really starting off with that cliche)There lived a prince in a beautiful kingdom in a faraway place. Very far...So far you've never heard of it before.The Prince was the first born of the fifteenth generation King. The king realized that he would soon need to pass the crown to his oldest son Prince Charles. But... There was a problem.
Ancient kingdom law stated that, "The successor needs a wife to ensure an heir to inherit the kingdom." With that in mind, the king sent an order to Prince Charles. In the form of a very nice scented letter, he elegantly wrote..."Prince Charles it has come to my attention that you have yet to choose a bride, and I worry for the future of this kingdom. So.....I ORDER YOU TO GO OUT AND FIND A WIFE! That is all. Oh! and you shall leave tomorrow."

I'm revising what I have of this book currently. Tho I don't have a lot of chapters. I'm doing this to improve it and bring it up to any current writing skills I might have.

Once upon a time in the hidden heart of France, a handsome young prince lived in a beautiful castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was selfish, spoiled, and unkind. He had an entire army of servants there to attend to his every need, most of which were there since his childhood. The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast.
