Wisp

Drifa is a winter wisp, destined to lead wayward humans to their deaths. When she has the opportunity to take her first mortal from the material world, everything goes wrong. The mortal, it turns out, isn't a mortal at all but a young Fire God. And Fire Gods aren't meant to be taken by wisps, not to their death, and certainly not back to Drifa's snowy world.

Frey is the perfect summer day to Drifa's eternal winter. But Fire Gods don't belong in a realm of ice. Soon, Frey grows sick, and Drifa's world is thrown so far out of balance, the life of every wisp is at stake.

It's up to Drifa to set things right, even if it means facing the wrath of her fellow winter wisps, a powerful and terrifying Sun God, and the loss of the fiery boy she's fallen in love with.
