It's been several months since the Undertaking. 

Malcolm Merlyn is dead - or so we think. 
His son Tommy is dead, sacrificing his life to save his ex-girlfriend Laurel Lance. 
Many others are dead, having died from the crippling earthquake caused by the Undertaking. 

Out of grief, regret and anger, Oliver Queen retreats to the island of Lian Yu. 

In desperation, Evelyn Queen/Athena, Felicity Smoak and John Diggle go to Lian Yu to persuade Oliver to return to Starling City, put on the hood once more and fight for his city. 

He accepts... and the adventure begins once more. 
But an old threat from Oliver's past is on the move - and he will stop at nothing until he gets his revenge upon the green-hooded archer and the people he loves.
