"I appreciate you defending the smaller kids from those bullies but I think you were too easy on them, too nice. Since you're older than them you could've been much stricter... That's what I would've done if I were you."

"Is that so? I really appreciate your appreciation and concern but I'm not you, teaching young people about bullying, sexual harassment and things like that is what I do for a living so I know how to constructively deal with them because in the end bullies are also children. They need support and guidance from their elders, not righteous anger, not contempt but understanding and patience. I might not have punished them but I've made those children stop and think about their actions, that's important to deal with the root problem..."
