The world is a unique place. We have werewolves, witches, necromancers(rare people), elves, fairies, catgirls, cyborgs you name it, we have it. Here there is magic but, we rarely use it nowadays, "why?" you may ask, well it's simple, we have advanced technology. Technology that could respawn you when you die! Although only workspaces have those sadly.
"Why did we create such things?" well, it's because of a parasite called "Impostor". An Impostor is a parasite researchers were studying until it got loose and started taking over people's bodies. The only way to get rid of them was to kill the host, but there were too many people dying, so they had to think of a way to fix that, and they did! We call it "The Anchor", it just needs a cup of necromancer's blood and, it's all set. We don't use "The Anchor" if the person dies naturally.
The Impostors hide out in buildings that aren't used at night i.e, offices, cafes, etc. They will infect randomly and will not do any tasks because most of these tasks could reveal that they're an Impostor. This is how we're getting rid of the Impostors we call this operation "Among Us"

Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

[Re-Edited] I absolutely love the concept behind the game "Among Us" and this story has been running around in my mind ever since I started playing it. They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing.
