At the age of 14 Melody witnessed the tragic death of her mother and almost became next but being saved by one of her mother's close friends and his son Skylar she was quickly sent away and put into hiding but not before Skylar promised to come back for her.
Now 10 years later working as a police officer in Oakland, California and leaving with her uncle Eric, her life has been simple, modest and she could not ask for a better one.
