Austin Airheart has two indulging jobs, one where he is an English teacher at Samantha's high school, and the other where he has his secret identity as Resilient, the most popular superhero. He always returns home with more wounds, but he loves saving people and serving justice.
Samantha becomes infatuated with Resilient and starts to see him differently, but the two always have complications due to Resilient's secretive life.
More superheroes and villains start to come into the story, causing more havoc and chaos in the city, and both Resilient and Samantha work together to fight crime.
Will the superheroes be able to fend off the evil wave coming their way?
