Jesse McCree has always been somewhat of a mystery to Y/N; acting warm and welcoming to every agent in the newly reformed Overwatch. When it came to them, however, all they got was the cold shoulder for unknown reasons. It wasn't until a last minute mission to the bitter icy lands of Russia and a silly bet that Y/N realized the real reason McCree has treated them so coldly.
This is a slowburner read that I started on my Overwatch x Reader story. I'll be posting two bonus chapters in this story that I didn't post in the other story. Enjoy reading!
Sidenote: There is nudity in this if you count underwear as being nude (no smut). Reader is also referred to as they/them. I don't own any of the Overwatch characters because if I did, then we would have Zenyatta lore.
*This story was written before McCree's name change. The story is not going to be altered to change Jesse McCree into Cole Cassidy. This not to disrespect the character, but to keep this story as is.*
