What is the meaning of life? Yusak Abimanyu, a 14-year-old boy living in Jakarta, is desperately looking high and low for life's meaning. Yet, the world has turned its back on him: his abusive father has left for another city, he's now nearly homeless, and his mom is dying from cancer. Living is pointless, he concludes.
But, his world and understanding of life will soon be transformed when Yusak meets a priest and a girl. "Time is tricky," the priest said. "If you come with me, you can change all this. You can choose the kind of life you and your mother want to live."
Follow Yusak's spiritual voyage through high and low in his search for meaning. This short fiction is a coming-of-age story about growing up and living life, but with a twist of time travel, love, and adventure.
Will he finally be able to unravel life's most elusive secret? Or will he fail miserably, just like the others?

The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. But the moments still linger on our mind. Example? Here it goes... "They say teenage romance is awkward-but nobody said it would come with strawberry perfume, secret siblings, and a weeb girl who could read minds..." "'Are you seriously making out with your twin?!' I screamed. Dani stood frozen. Daisy ran. And somehow... this all started with candied flowers." "An absolute affection coming from absurd person? Shining Glasses included... such an irony". And many more absurdity follows... Putra, a normal student that has been dragged everywhere...
