A year after the war, Hogwarts has been rebuilt and the students have returned, including a temporary 'eighth year' class to make up from the time lost during the war. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy have both returned, though neither is exactly the same after the events of the war. Harry has turned away from his Golden Boy exterior, no longer caring what others think and for the first time, doing what he wants. Draco just wants to move past the events of the war, to get this last year of school over with so he can move on with his life. Harry's last year at Hogwarts, of course, had been interrupted by the war. The war that had ended the reign of Lord Voldemort. The Battle Of Hogwarts. But Harry wasn't ready to end his time there. He missed the castle, he missed his classes, he missed everything about it. Luckily he would get the chance to go back. Students in 7th year at Hogwarts were given the chance to continue their studies in 8th year. This was set up for the students so that they could continue their magical education. All younger students were to repeat their year before moving on to the next year. Studies would continue just as normal as ever. So this year there will be double the first years. As for over aged students, they may retake seventh year if they wish. She also believes a resorting should be set for anyone wanting once. I mean the war had drastic effects on anyone involved or with family involved. Hermione Granger will be attending and is dragging along her boyfriend and best friend. Harry Potter is secretly thankful for this as he can't take the silence of his new home. Plus, if he stays home dwelling on his girlfriend's, Ginny, death any longer he might go insane. Draco Malfoy will be attending to get away from the Malfoy Manor which is filled with fighting. He can't wait to go back to school.
