SAO:R is a creative fan story like no other, about a new set of experiments Rath is performing with the fluctlight technology. A few "instances" of digital history have been recreated from Kirito's fluctlight data and the data of other people who have dived into the Underworld or lived in it, and they have created artificial alternate universes in the same style as the Underworld itself.

One of these instances' Kirito has died unexpectedly, and Kikuoka calls in the REAL Kirito to fill in and continue where his other self left off. Unfortunately, things get complicated as usual. Not only does the world he's diving into have another Alice, but she's the mother of two children, who happen to be Kirito's! Additionally, strange occurances are causing havoc despite Higa's best efforts. But that's not the only mess this whole AU project has caused in VR... it gets much worse...

Originally created by me and BlueRoseKnight, along with Jean (visual artist), Seiren (cover artist) and Monica (assistant writer) of Vorpal Blade Productions, I seek to bring you something new; taking visual queues from the Alicization anime as well as Light Novel quality writing and a remixed opening cinematic to present what may be one of the most compelling SAO fanfictions to date.

With Kirito beating Heathcliff, a.k.a Kayaba Akihiko (who was also Ume's uncle), everyone was released from the game. But alas, that isn't where the story ends. Kirito and Asuna meet together in real life, happy as can be, only to find out three hundred players have yet to awaken from their slumber. Asuna leads Kirito to Ume's family's hospital and asked to see her. When they reach her, they expect her to be awake and send a sarcastic remark for not knocking, but instead, she is still unconscious and shows no signs of waking up soon. Everyday, they visit her, or Evey few days, but still she lays there, unmoving. Then, Kirito gets an email from Agil with a picture, and in it was of a girl with snow white hair and icy blue eyes and wings made of crystal. Kirito tells Asuna to wait for him, that he'll save Ume, and return. But what are these feelings that he thought he only felt for Asuna? ~*~ I do not own any characters except for my OCs [slight mature content but not enough to make story mature; mature scenes are very short and not too bad] {book two}

The Spectre Of Light (SAO x OC) de Hyper231

After a portal saved him last minute from his own attack, MK Light was forcibly teleported to a world he had never seen before. Saved by a pair of siblings, he now has to deal with two new realities; one of them being a game of life and death... Note: MK Light is NOT replacing the canon main character, unlike other stories. (What this means is that Kirito is still relevant.) Those who copy = Block, no warnings This SAO spinoff will NOT follow the canon timeline during specific events (i.e. LC raid) or with specific characters (i.e. Kyouji Shinkawa) Profanity is used in this story. There are direct references in this story not only to SAO, but also others like DBZ for example. Regarding a specific tag that doesn't SEEM to belong there, he makes an appearance as an actual character, but as a side character later in the story. Regarding another tag, an attack from that series is performed in the prologue. Other attacks will be performed in Alicization with the exception of one specific technique that is seen every now and then. Regarding ANOTHER tag, TWO of the characters eventually learn a type of magic, MK Light being one of them. His eyes are also a direct reference to the (fake) final boss of a certain path in this game. Regarding one last tag, MK Light pulls THAT stunt due to his will to live. (I put another tag lol) Regarding that one tag, one of the games from that series has quite a significant influence on MK Light's weapons in GGO.

I am going to attempt writing my own version of the story that is much darker and focuses on things that the original arc didn't focus on. The story follows Kirito, after he wakes up from beating, "Sword Art Online." He learns that Asuna didn't wake up with him and he now struggles to find a reason to keep trying to live his life. Once he learns that Asuna is still alive in a different game, he must find the motivation to become the player that he once was in, "Sword Art Online," in order to save her from a threat unlike anything he has faced, before.
