Wave one was the radiation and mass poisoning giving a small percent of us powers and killing off those who's bodies were dying already. Wave two was the destructive wave, it was the wave that knocked down towers and blew the sun a little further away. Finally wave three! The reset. Nakait and I had plans, we were gonna do everything together, now I'm alone. After the second wave, most of humanity died out. People had been ravenous, but nothing like after the third wave. Those of us with power could hide or protect ourselves, but anyone who didn't is part of the "Mutants" hate Group or dead. "I won't be blamed for the things that happened here, and I sure as hell won't let someone who doesn't know shit about my life or what I've been through, dictate what I do or how I do it. So do us all a favor and shut your mouth for once in your life!"

A nuclear strike is imminent in 90 minutes, your partner is miles away at work, the kids are across town in school and none of the cell networks are up. Do you have a plan? Meet the Tams, an ordinary American family as they confront a scenario that we are shockingly on the brink of today -complete isolation. They must find their way back to each other and decide what to do next without any information to go on except America is under attack. Yet there are no tanks, planes, or cars to be seen. There are no soldiers on the ground or places to get reliable information. Everyone is acting on instincts, some are leaving out of fear while others still don't believe a war is taking place at all. After the destruction and mayhem, the government arrives with promises of normalcy that clash with rumors of dwindling supplies. Fred's decision to leave with his family leads them on a perilous journey toward Arrow Hall-a sanctuary in the mountains. There, they uncover the truth behind the apocalypse and find unexpected allies.
