The outbreak ravaged across Australia. Nearly everyone was effected, only a lucky few survived. No place is safe. In the other countries they caution themselves away from that area, calling it the Abandoned Wilderness.

It is here that Sally Davidson fights to survive against the odds at the young age of 18. Scavenging from what's left of past lives, she kills the living dead leaving only peaceful chaos in her wake. The only thought that brings peace to her mind is that one day she will find her mother, who was infected by the outbreak, and finally put her to rest.

There is only one problem, in the Abandoned Wilderness you never know who - or what - may be watching you..........

50 partes Concluida
Jason Conroy is a popular 16 year old with the world at his feet. That seemed to be the case until unexpectedly, and out of character, his father David informs him that they are to move to a desolate part of northern England for work reasons, leaving everything Jason loves behind. With only his cat Kato for company, the Conroy's arrive at their new home much to Jason's distaste. Things go from bad to worse as Jason struggles to settle, finding everything to moan about from the constant strange, dreary light outside and the spooky old house to inhospitable locals. On his first venture out Jason meets Jo, a beautiful but feisty 18 year old. For a moment she offers some respite to his misery until she suddenly becomes scared and tells Jason to be wary: 'Don't eat the food here. It's drugged. It's the planes; they don't want you to hear.' This bombshell opens up a dark and dangerous hidden world that surrounds both Jason and Jo as they attempt to uncover the truth behind her claims. A once stable father figure, David's real intentions for moving come into question. As they dig deeper, the full extent and scale of the deception begins to unfold, leaving Jason questioning everything he has ever been told. Fearing lies and searching for truths, Jason uncovers shocking personal secrets and revelations of an unbelievable origin that will change his life forever, even bringing the safety of the earth and the fate of the whole galaxy into doubt. Whatever he thinks or feels, Jason has no choice. It is down to him to save everyone and everything...

"You can't tell me there isn't something here worth risking everything for." [New Adult Apocalyptic Romance] Summary: There are some things that you can't outrun. That becomes all the more obvious when the world is ending, when there's nothing left but the feral creatures that were once people, consumed now by a virus that's made them cannibalistic and ravenous. It might just be easier to end it all, but Claire still has one last thing to fight for. Her younger sister. And she intends to keep her safe, no matter the cost. So, with no other options and her sister in tow, Claire ventures out into the dangers of this new, unforgiving world in search of safety, security, and answers to some long burning questions. The first two things -along with some new, unexpected questions- she finds in an unlikely place: a stranger who she's become indebted to. She has a feeling he can help her answer all her questions, if she can allow herself to fully trust him. Trust, she thinks, is a fragile thing. Humanity, a construct. Love, a weakness. But these are the thoughts of a survivor, and she's beginning to wonder if surviving is all she wants. Maybe she wants to live.
