Kaya Erisa never would have thought that she would successfully run away from the orphanage, get kidnapped by an assassin ordered to kill her, and befriend him. Her very first friend, and one that would last for a very long time. But then, after an accident, she gets amnesia and forgets everything about him.

Killua Zoldyck has been tied down by his family and their high expectations of him for doing something that he hates. Then he becomes friends with Kaya and begins to feel the chains slowly loosening. But just when he was starting to feel like a normal kid, she suddenly gets amnesia, her memories with him all gone...

When Kaya and Killua meet, five years later at the Hunter Academy, they slowly start to rebuild their forgotten friendship.
