Basically, mermaids/merman exist in this AU but.. they are the size of actual fish and are sold as pets. Like Bitty's! And Matt is a little merman that is about the size of a middle finger, and Tom is basically just a normal person that goes to a pet store one day and finds Matt! (in this AU 'The End' basically never happened and Tord stayed with the group and Edd is the only one keeping this makeshift family together while Tom and Tord endlessly bicker) And spoiler: Matt has a bad experience with Ringo.
