As the year passes by, Cedric begins to realize that the feelings he has for Iris aren't as platonic as he always thought they were, and staying 'just friends' proves more difficult than any of the tasks he's facing. He wants her to stay by his side for the rest of his life, but he's too afraid of ruining the friendship to make his feelings known.
