This is a story that is happening in between season 3 and season 4 of the Netflix series The Worst Witch.
There is a competition being set by the Great Wizard. One witch is being picked to represent the school to win this competition. Mildred Hubble had been chosen, which was unfortunate to her high hopes not to get chosen. Only to realise that she'll have to leave the school and apply for a job suitable for her at the Magic Council. Ethel Hallow, as usual, heard about all this and wanted a trade for getting a job at the Council from Mildred, saying that she would be able to continue to stay with her two best friends, Maud Spellbody and Enid Nightshade, who are both urging her to win the competition.
Now it is up to Mildred. If... just if... if she wins, will she drop out of Cackle's Academy to apply for a very special job and become the first, young witch to work at the Magic Council, but forced to leave her best friends? Or stay, and decline the job just so that she could stay with her friends?

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

Eleven-year-old Ivy Strongwill's life suddenly turns upside down as she comes across a certain yellow-eyed feline with a noble title. In less than a day, Sir Thomas the VIIth of the Meows-A-Lot dynasty frees Ivy from both her simple-minded family and her bullying classmates. As the truth about her powers is revealed, Ivy chooses to follow in her grandmother's footsteps and become a legendary sorcerwitch by attending the Sorcermagic Pergulum for Young Sorcerwizards and Sorcerwitches, a special school which accommodates her needs better than her previous, dabbler one could. However, she has no idea that a certain someone is eagerly waiting for her to fail at all times. During her first year at the Pergulum, Ivy ties long lasting friendships, both with her new classmates, and with her more or less severe professors. Odd dishes are served, sorcercharmed animals are sometimes more empathetic than humans, important lessons are learned, old and new enemies lurk in the dark and help comes from the most unexpected of characters. As she navigates many exciting disciplines involving the use and control of her newly-discovered sorcermagic skills, the young girl realizes that appearances can be deceiving and that nothing is what it appears to be, except for her best friends who are always there to support her. Liam and Amanda Canmore, Concordrea Vevin, Solace Orphe, Abner Kettlebark and Lawuer Qrevior stand by Ivy in all difficult situations to come.

Heir of Charms

1 part Complete

Destruction. In a family of healers who save, all I do is destroy. My enforced solitude is for my own safety as well as that of the world, or so my mother tells me. When the boy next door beckons, I can't help but sneak out to forge a friendship with him. Loneliness leads me to defy my family, but desperation prevails when I discover that the grounds of his private academy hold a secret that could help me learn why my ability is so disastrous . . . or push me to create a catastrophe that will bring only death and destruction. *** Merith Leigh has decided to give herself the best sixteenth birthday present ever: freedom. She's spent the last two years in silent communication with Taran, the boy next door, and his encouragement to meet him beyond their bedroom window views has tempted her to finally break free of her family's bonds. With a leap of faith, she trusts Taran with her future, and he takes her to meet his friends at his private academy, where a secret society that studies magic lurks with secrets of their own. Can Taran and his classmates help her discover why she carries the gift of destruction rather than her family's skill at healing, or will their association prove deadly?
