Katie "Pidge" Holt had just received a pressing piece of news: Matt is getting married. What with her new machine still in progress, and her confusing feelings about her brother leaving her, she could hardly take anything more. Despite being a forward thinking woman, she finds herself scared of change.
But fate seems to point her towards something new, and it seems like a certain blue paladin is right down her path.

(AU where instead of Matt and Samuel Holt, it was Katie and her mother who went with Shiro for the kerberos mission.) They were rotting away in a cell. Katie could hear every sound as fear rushed over her when she'd awoken. Shiro had been kind to her and her mother during the mission and that didn't change as they were locked away. They were fine as long as they were together, helping one another and the other prisoners, but then Katie's mother is taken from the cell, leaving Katie with the fear of losing Shiro and being alone. It was time for you and the team, especially you and Keith, to step up and overcome your conflicts and start to become proper teammates, or perhaps more. or A story in which Keith Kogane and (Y/N), old classmates, meet again on a fateful night on a rescue mission for Shiro. Except that Keith now hates (Y/N)'s guts. What happened and how will that affect the Team of Voltron? She fell in love with a prince, but magic ran deep in her veins, calling out to her. Witches were hunted, chained, and burned at the stake. She was told many times to shame who she was, and that's what she did. Never did she embrace her witch side unless it was for the sake of others. She and her friend, though, were destined to burn for their so called 'crimes.' All they did was believe a prince and a knight, letting their hearts be snagged and torn to pieces. It's been years since the universe had seen the great Paladins of Voltron in battle. Years since those paladins have seen the lions. The universe was saved, so the lions left. Until now. The paladins are older now, and each have their own families. Hunk and Shay decided to settle down, and had a son named Erik. He looked a lot like Hunk, but was very Bulmeran. Shiro met an alien named Hel while on a special mission. The two fell in love and had a baby boy named Kade. Kade had black messy hair, and dark skin like Hel. Pidge didn't end up having any kids, but Matt on the other hand had a daughter named Evelyn. Evelyn was a lot like the siblings, with the same Gunderson charm. Lance settled down with Allura, and had a daughter named Isla. Isla looked very much like Allura, but with Lances brown hair and a strange condition with her skin tone. She ended up with a very light skin tone, due to a strange Altean occurrence. When no Altean father is present, the child takes the skin tone of the closest Altean male. Since that was Coran, Isla ended up with lighter skin, but Lance and Allura had no problems with it. Some time after Allura had passed away, Lance and Keith realized they had feelings for each other. They soon adopted a daughter named Abbey. Abbey had been through a lot regarding families, so she wasn't fond of siblings. Soon enough though, her and Isla became great friends. Even though Pidge had no children, all the kids thought of her as the cool aunt. They were all friends, and hung out quite often. This is the story of the Voltron Descendants. (This is a story me and my friends are writing. The new characters are OC's of ours, and we wanted to do something with them. In this universe, Allura made it past the final battle, but passed away when Isla was young. All of the kids are fairly smart since Pidge educated them, but a few are more impulsive than others.)Complete

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork.
