She does not feel that she is suited for the position of deputy, though through trials, tribulations, love, and loss, she learns the hard way that she knows her place in MistClan.

Then she sees something, proving that she was meant to be a medicine cat- but will anyone believe her? Then Fernpaw gets chased away by some angry warrior, she thinks that she has probably found a home in a different clan, unless they find out the truth. Fernpaw has to find a way to hide it until she can prove how she feels on the inside.
