It's said that Fire Lord Ozai is gracious and benevolent, inviting the young royals, nobles, and leaders of the Four Nations to attend school at the Fire Nation's most distinguished Royal Academy. Very few imagine that he has deceitful intentions.

Crown Prince Zuko is wary of the new arrivals at first. Going directly against his fear of becoming attached to those he knows his father is eager to harm, Zuko finds himself relentlessly pursuing the friendship of a stubborn Princess from the Southern Water Tribe. Somehow, Katara manages to soothe his burning heart, and together, they must navigate the harsh world Zuko's father has created for them.

"Despite his openness toward her, Katara can't help but feel uncertain about how to deal with him. For much of her young life, she's heavily resented the Fire Nation. She doesn't know why Zuko's taken such an interest in her anyways. After all, what business does a child of the sun have with one of the moon?"
