He glanced at me eye-to-eye, but it almost wavered as a deep blush spread over his cheeks. “I know I may seem like a player… or am a player… and I may seem like a huge jerk and a selfish brat but,” he paused, “I’ve been undeniably, irrevocably in love with you since I first laid my eyes on you since seventh grade! I may sound stupid but I became popular just so you could notice me—but once I did, you only ignored me more! So I desperately fought my way just to be noticed by you… I know you think of yourself as very worthless and ugly, but,” he grabbed my hands gently, “you’re the most beautiful, amazing and selfless girl I have ever met. Can I be your boyfriend?”

I stared at him, speechless, gawking at him like I had problems.
