He glanced at me eye-to-eye, but it almost wavered as a deep blush spread over his cheeks. “I know I may seem like a player… or am a player… and I may seem like a huge jerk and a selfish brat but,” he paused, “I’ve been undeniably, irrevocably in love with you since I first laid my eyes on you since seventh grade! I may sound stupid but I became popular just so you could notice me—but once I did, you only ignored me more!
