The Virus Had A Purpose. I am one of the survivors of Covid-19, the government sent it out. The elderly and people with prior medical conditions did not survive the "transformation" as they call it.
What I mean, like your comic books, we got powers, the simple way to say it. There is different categories for us. The virus had a purpose.

The After Effects
After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects. Everything changed eleven years ago and only a few knew what actually happened after billions of people died. That all changes one-day though and I found my life completely flipped upside down. Shortly after the economic collapse. A pandemic or Strange Phenomenon took place a virus spread around the world. It was the successor to the flu called Prodigian. The virus spread went on to killed off millions of humans that were infected around the 1st year of its inception. It spread Global to the point that everybody became Asymptomatic. The virus evolved so much that it changed the molecular structure of the brain,nervous systems even down to the dna make up of humans. Humans began experiencing mutations, or exciting abilities that mirror Graphics novel characters. This provided people who were in a bad Economic social class but with Superior abilities, with villainous behavior, especially to the people in high economic social standings but with less desirable Abilities to be overthrown or conquered.
